Imranosoft is a one-person software company. This page describes exactly what the website collects, why, how long it is kept, and how to have it removed. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
Who is responsible
This website and its products are operated by Muhammad Imran Bhatti, trading as Imranosoft. Questions about anything on this page go to imran@imranosoft.com.
Trial download form
To download the LiteView2 trial you provide a name and an email address, and you may tell us what you intend to build. That submission is stored in a private file on the web host that is not publicly reachable.
What is stored
| Field | Why |
|---|---|
| Timestamp | To order submissions and support the retention rule below. |
| Submission ID | So a repeated submission is not stored twice. |
| Name, Email | To send the download and reply to you. |
| Use case | Optional. It tells us which features matter to real projects. |
| Page | Which page the request came from. |
| Truncated IP address | Abuse prevention. The address is shortened before it is stored, so it is not a full address. |
| Marketing consent | Records whether you opted in. It defaults to no. |
Retention: 12 months from submission, then deleted.
Marketing: requesting a trial is not consent to marketing. We only email you about product updates if you explicitly ticked that box.
LiteGrid Turbo Showcase and evaluation requests
The LiteGrid Turbo Try page has two forms. The Showcase form offers an optional email field and never requires it for the download. The evaluation request form asks for your name, email address and host application. We use the address you provide to reply manually with a private evaluation download link. Submissions are stored in the site's private database, which is not publicly reachable.
What is stored
| Field | Showcase | Evaluation | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| Timestamp, submission ID | Yes | Yes | To order requests, avoid storing a repeated submission twice, and apply the retention rule below. |
| Email address | Optional | Yes | To associate optional Showcase details and, for an evaluation, to send the personal package link. An incorrect address cannot receive the evaluation. |
| Name | Optional | Yes | So we know who we are preparing the evaluation copy for. |
| Company | Optional | Optional | Context for the request. |
| Host application (Access, Excel, VB6 or other) | Optional | Yes | So we can point you to the right setup notes. |
| About your project | No | Optional | Helps us answer your evaluation request usefully. |
| Page, marketing consent | Yes | Yes | Which page the request came from, and whether you opted in to product news (defaults to no). |
| Risk flags | Yes | Yes | A short technical marker, such as a very fast submission, used only to spot automated abuse. |
Not stored: your IP address. For submissions the site identifies as automated, no submitted form fields or content are stored at all; the only thing that may be kept is the short-lived, daily-salted IP rate-limit hash described below.
Rate limiting: to limit abuse, the site keeps rotating keyed hashes of the connection address and, where supplied, the email address. The hashes cannot be turned back into those addresses and are separated into short time windows.
Operational email
The website stores an evaluation request but does not automatically email you. After reviewing the request, Imranosoft manually replies to the address you provided with a private, expiring evaluation package link. This reply is operational, not marketing. The Showcase form sends no email. We send product news only if you ticked the consent box, which is unticked by default. The site cannot guarantee that an email is delivered, and replies can land in a spam folder. Internationalised (non-ASCII) email addresses are not accepted yet.
Retention: requests are kept for 12 months from submission. A technical delivery log, which contains no names, email addresses or project text, is kept for 90 days. Both are enforced by a monthly review in which older records are deleted.
Feedback form
The feedback form stores your message, the page you sent it from, an optional email address if you want a reply, and a category.
Be aware: unlike the trial form, feedback submissions currently also record the full connection (IP) address and the browser user-agent string alongside the message. This is legacy behaviour from an earlier version of the form and is used only to investigate abuse. It is on the list to be reduced to the same truncated form the trial download uses.
Retention: 12 months from submission, then deleted.
Request a Tool
A “Request a Tool” feature is planned for this site. It will let you describe, in one line, a component you wish existed, so that demand can be weighed before anything is built.
It is not live yet. Nothing is being collected through it today. Before it launches, this section will be updated to state exactly which fields are stored, how long they are kept, and whether an optional email address is collected — with those details settled and published here first, not afterwards.
Two things are already fixed by design and will not change:
- The stored request will contain no raw IP address and no user-agent string.
- Abuse prevention will use a temporary one-day salted hash derived from the server-observed connection address, held separately from the request itself. That hash is purged automatically each day, is never used for profiling, and is never included in any export.
Independently of the above, the hosting provider and normal web-server access logs may separately retain standard connection information under the hosting provider's own policies. See server logs and hosting.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count page views and a small number of named events, such as which product card was clicked. It tells us which pages are worth improving.
IP anonymisation is applied by Google Analytics 4 by default. We do not use analytics data to identify individuals, and we do not sell or share it. If you prefer not to be measured, any standard tracking blocker or a browser “do not track” extension will stop the script loading; the site works normally without it.
Server logs and hosting
The website runs on shared commercial hosting. As with any web server, the hosting provider's access logs may record standard connection information — including IP address, timestamp, requested URL and user-agent — independently of anything described above. Those logs are controlled by the hosting provider under its own retention policy, not by us, and we do not use them for analytics or marketing.
Your choices and how to reach us
Email imran@imranosoft.com and ask. Specifically, you can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold that relates to your email address;
- correct it;
- delete it, including before the retention period expires;
- stop emailing you, at any time, for any reason.
There is no ticketing system and no queue — the request reaches the person who runs the site. Deletion requests are actioned by hand, normally within one business day.
No data described on this page is sold, rented, or shared with advertisers.
